Happy Superbowl Sunday everybody!
I hope all of y'all plan to watch the game this evening; it won't hurt to take a little homework break. Well, I don't know about you guys but I haven't done anything this whole weekend except homework, homework, and more homework! I have worked a good 2-3 hours on my rough draft (throughout the whole weekend) and plan on turning it in tonight. I'm looking forward to that because that will be a little bit of weight lifted off my shoulders. The hardest part for me when creating my rough draft was having a good, strong ending. What was y'alls hardest part? I think I ended up finishing well, and whoever gets the opportunity to read my paper can tell me if they agree. I titled my blog "Ending with a new beginning" because we are coming to the end of our research paper, which all of us are probably looking forward too, but we are starting a new class book which is another task tacked on to our to do list.
As of now I am more than half way through chapter two and the book is getting interesting, but still hasn't answered my main question. I really want to know the story behind Nhamo's death. I would like to know how he died, why, and when. I wonder if we are going to find that out early in the book or later on? Another concern I have about this book is is it all about the past? Meaning do we ever catch up to the narrator in present day? I am looking forward to reading this book even though it means I have to pause on my other free read, which was getting really intriguing. For some reason I am not able to read two books at one time because I will get confused and warn out, and that is not good!
Time worked on paper: 2.5 hours
Time reading "Nervous Conditions": 1 hour
Have a good Sunday and just think it's almost Mardi Gras!
Love, ksparkles77
