Happy almost Valentine's Day everybody!
It's Sunday night and I bet most of us our cramming in last minute studying for test or making Valentine's desserts to distribute to our friends on Tuesday. Well I spent my weekend reading "Nervous Conditions". I'm one of those people who has to break up my reading times because I cannot sit still and read through 20+ pages without getting a headache or start to doze off. But surprisingly on Saturday night all I did was read through chapter 4 and complete the questions. It only took about 3-3.5 hours total, but it got done. Now all I have to do is read chapter 5 for Wednesday and see what's in store for me next.
As you all know, or should know, the editing part of our paper's aren't due Monday anymore, they are due on Wednesday, then the final draft due Thursday. I don't know about y'all but that helps me greatly because I have so many test at the beginning of this week and that was just another thing added to the list. Can anyone explain to me how I see my peers' comments? Do I go on turnitin.com? (Reply with answer). I'm not gonna spoil chapter 4 for any of you, but if you haven't read it yet you better hurry because it is a good chapter that you don't want to get behind on and end up reading it Monday night in a rush. Same with chapter 5; who wants to be stuck at home on Valentine's night reading? Not me! My family has made dinner plans, and my grandparents are joining us, it's going to be very exciting!

Katie,
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you might be doing more than you need to with the questions. None should take more than a few sentences or bullet points, and while I'm glad you are taking the time to process what you read thoroughly, I definitely don't want you to be spending 3 hours/chapter. Your Nervous Conditions reading for the week as a whole should fit or come close to fitting within the 150 minutes outside reading time - maybe a little over for next week because we are reading four chapters.
